Grandmas Birthday Card

Here is my Grandma's birthday card.  Hope she likes it. 

I used PTI sentiment, paper, layerz mat stacks and flower stamp.  Martha Steward embossing poweder and stampin up silhouettes stamp.  This is probably the quickest card I have created yet!.  I am really loving everything I've gotten from PTI so far!

Second Card made for my son's birthday

I have fallen in love with PTI stamps and just love cupcakes.  Trying to come up with layouts for the cupcakes was tougher than I thought. 

I gave this card to my son for his birthday who decided to re-gift it...I bet you'll never guess to whom!  Oh well, at least he's creative.

First Attempt

Here is my first attempt at a card after the online class.  I used a technique (not the right supplies) from the class.  I thought I could do more than I have in the last month or so....It takes me forever to get creative.

The stamps are from PTI and the paper is Tim Holtz.  

Online card class starts tomorrow

Can't wait to see all of the great techniques that this online card class has to offer!  I hope it gets the crafting juices going and will be sure to post the first project!

My first Blog!

This is my attempt at trying to create something about the crafts I like to do and share with others.  I have done small woodworking (fizzled out a few years ago) to now rubberstamping and making cards.  I try to be creative on my own, but find it takes me hours to put something together.  Hopefully a card making class I found http://www.onlinecardclasses.com/inspirationshowcase/classinfo/ through papertrey inks website (nicholes blog) will help with some new techniques.  It's an online class and can be done at your leisure.  Can't wait to try it out and will be sure to add some posts of the creations.
